Clearing TCU...?
This may be a stupid question, but does one have to clear the TCU? I see how to check codes on it, but not how to clear codes. Does it clear automatically or what?
I ask because I pulled the tranny resistor today and it looked brand new. So I'd wanna clear the Code 11 and hopefully restore normal operation, only the SVX Information Warehouse doesn't say how to clear codes... Help! |

It should clear after about 75 miles of "normal" driving, or you could disconect the negative pole to the battery and leave it for 10 minutes, then reconnect.

Yeah, I just did. Or rather, I couldn't find mine so I took it to a local shop.
Errrr... it read as "open circuit." |

Dang it, I want to go to Reading so badly--sounds like the SVX swap meet of the century. But I can't make it.
It's okay, I've got a resistor and equipment to do the replacement myself. I'll probably have it done and in the car by tomorrow. |
