now keep in mind that i don't own a xbox360...so far the ps3 has digested most media stuff i've thrown at it. mostly avi videos, different audio formats, etc. on cd's, dvd's, & blu ray.

i have noticed that bad or corrupted frames throws it into a freeze state for about 15 seconds and would eventually display a can not read media error.

how does xbox360 and their media player fair with bad/corrupted frames? freezes or keeps playing?

i know windows media takes a dump when it sees those frames. the same ones that i throw into mplayer works fine so far reading the same files that windows media and ps3 craps on.

just curious.

i've been fooling around with media centers alot...ps3, windoze, and linux...the ps3 does well and is comparable to a good system with a good video card. haven't seen the quality of the xbox360.
