My SVX is the first car in my name, however my parents and my grandfather who lives with us have owned:

~1990 Legacy x2
1990's Outback x3
2003/2005 Forester
2005 Impreza

So including my SVX that's 9 Subies that have gone through us. Plus the demon Taurus.

The SVX is my fifth Subaru and not my last. All the others have been Legacys. Still have two - a wagon and sedan.

This is the first Subaru in my name as well. Before this, I had a 1991 Legacy - as denoted in my signature. A while ago - before the Legacy - my family had a 1986 GL Sedan 4WD.

yes, but in the svx it actually works well!

I hate the auto climate in our forester.

My favorite feature; the 4eat. I know it sounds crazy with the reliability problems, but I have to admit this is the best behaving tranny I have driven as far as when to shift & when not to shift vs. the right foot movement.

Another favorite feature, don't know if it's on here or not.

Stop Lamp light, comes on when a brake light is out. Almost the coolest thing in an SVX

You should've added the "Steering Wheel Memory Lever" in the mix. I'll bet there are still some members here that don't even know it's there.

I don't think I could pick one of those features as my favorite. As a whole they all comprise the car's character. So I would say that my favorite SVX feature would have to be that it's an SVX. It is what it is, and it's a special car, indeed.
Ok I just found this thread. What is this "Steering Wheel Memory Lever"

OK - auto lights off. Probably disgusts the Die-Hard & Exide lobby, but should be standard on all vehicles.

Ron (auto time-out turn signals should be do-able, no?)
"winter sensor hood strut auto slam feature"? What is that?

took me forever to be able to adjust the steering wheel....the main adjustment lever is under the center of the steering wheel column inline with the dashboard.

I actually forgot about the memory column once and freaked when I couldn't get it to move into the right position. I found the lever as I was looking for the screw holes to rip off the cover .. i hadn't driven it in a while

Talking

I think all the features mentioned in the poll are great but the absolute greatest feature is the AUTOMATIC SMILE FEATURE that comes to my face every time I get behind the wheel!!!!!!

I sit so far back in the driver's area, that I couldn't see the cruise button behind the wheel and thought my cruise was broken for the longest time. Until of course I decided to look thru the steering wheel.
