Lug Nuts for Stock wheels?

I want to put on this set of stock wheels I got that have some blizzaks on them for winter tires, but I don't have the stock lug nuts.

So, I need a full set of lug nuts for a set of stock wheels.
The dealer quoted me some ridiculous figure for a full set...

I went to the local pepboys and they guy behind the counter searched the computer and then told me they don't have it in the system...

I have no clue when it comes to lug nut shopping, what exactly do I ask for? Dimensions, type, shape?
If remember right, I read something about some lugs fit but eventually loosen, but I cant find the thread at this point in time.
I will drive the car less than 100 miles all winter, so them ones that loosen eventually may be an option to me as long as they are cheap.
I just need wheels on it to move it out the driveway so they can plow.

Can someone please tell me what the cheapest option is?

I would just try to buy a set of used OEM SXV lug nuts from a member.

I have no problem with this option if they are cheap. I just didn't think anyone would be sitting on a full set.

Are there any other cars that use the same lug nuts as the SVX?
When I search for SVX lug nuts they tell me they have no parts..
Is it like wheel shopping where I need to look for a whatever model year sti to actually get results?
For example, I'm looking at rockauto and they sell the SVX studs but not the nuts.. I don't understand that..

Re: Lug Nuts for Stock wheels?

The SVX lug nuts are unique. Toyota uses the same style on some wheels, but they have a different thread pitch. Many members are likely to have a set lying around, aftermarket wheels generally require different nuts.

Just got home, I see I have a PM.
Looks like I might have a set of stock lug nuts close by.

Thanks
