2 pieces each side is better than one piece. Well Subaru is not that stupid to make the OEM parts two on each side... Plastic is flexible and the car body tends to bend a little bit on curves, so installing rigid fiberglass parts will either crack (a little bit, hardly noticeable) or the screws (the ones that hold the FG to the body) will get loose.... so making them 2 peices on each side will resolve this issue.

In my case, I bolted the sides using plastic pins, each couple of months I check on them and there they are loose and the sides are a few millimeters far from the body (only below the doors).

So to keep this problem from occurring, I highly suggest they be done in two pieces each side

Time to start the first GROUP BUY

Alright..I'm confident enough that I'll get these done now, that I'll actually start taking orders and asking for deposits. Your deposits will allow me to purchase the materials needed for making the molds and parts.

For the first 20 orders, I will give an introductory price of $250/set, you pay shipping. This price will include the skirts and all needed hardware to attach them (screws, etc..). They will come to you in a gelcoat finish, that you will need to prime and paint to match your liking.

If you want to be in for the intro pricing, here is the fine print:

1. Put your name on the list (next message)
2. Send a $100 deposit (paypal [stevebsy@yahoo.com] or money order [PM for address]), the balance before shipping
3. Be willing to wait, until at worst July 1 for deliveries to start.
4. After July 1, if I have not started shipping, you can have your deposit back if you request it, AND still get the intro price at any time in the future.
5. If for some reason, by August 31 I have not started shipping, then I will return all deposits.

Any questions, PM me please.

Stevesby, I am familiar with start up costs of exclusive SVX projects. fiberglass hoods, big brake kits, superchargers, you know...
And I think this is a GREAT price!!!
I have wanted the side skirts since BEFORE the SVX was released!!!
Now all I have to do is run it past Di.
Great job my brother!!!

I got to see if I can come up with the cash. I would love to get a set on my car. Looking at the pics they look very close to the delta speed ones.

Quick question: These are rigid right? I saw an SVX with a "body kit" last week and it was some sort of rubber that was flexible.
