Ideas on how to get the knock sensor bolt back in..

My driver's side knock sensor was going bad..
I was able to get the old one out, but I cannot get the bolt started to secure the new one in.

All I need is to get the bolt started then I will be able to get the rest in with a socket, knuckle and extension.

For those of you who have done this, how did you get the bolt started.
