Just Curious About your Paint
I have a 94L Built In 3/94 as per plate tag! Just curious how you would rate your car if of course original
 . On a scale of 1-10 How would you rate your paint? I'll start the thread by saying I think mine is an 7. The worst part on my car is the mirrors ( well we all know that ). Yeah I got a few chips on the hood , but overall I call mine a 7  . Ijust want to keep her original paint as long as possible  Someday soon I'll find some time and post some pics , so you all can decide

92LS-L perlie and its a six much due to the corners(all scratched to h3ll courtesy of previous owner) and some slight mangling of my own doing and I have a black mirror

I would have to say mines only a 4. Probably because 40% of it has been recently repainted. Other parts were repainted but very poorly and it shows.
The body on the other hand would be an 8.5 with rust only on one panel.

Mine's a solid 5, maybe a 6. Zero rust, no collision repair, few door dings and fewer scratches, but there's a galaxy of small chips on the front half of the hood, and the clearcoat is beginning to peel from the usual spots while getting pretty hazy on the roof. Cleans-up nice enough, but no show car. Which is fine.

4...maybe 3.... chips fading on deck, some door dings... I just need to find a week or two to get it in the shop... buyin a new daily soon. Maybe I'll ahve time then.

My 92 Pearly is a 10
It had a very good original Pearl paint with five thumbprint to golf ball dings and a repainted pealing rear bumper. I got a replacement rear bumper from 1995GreenSVX, and took it to (Dave) Fishers Auto Body in Frostburg MD I ended up with them repainting ALL the white, SEVEN coats pearl and clear It looks GREAT.  My Claret is another story.
