Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

If you are looking for Ideas on how to paint her, there is always the JDM "tri-tone gray" like this one that I almost bought, but passed up due to finding my red one in better mechanical shape (worse body though).

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

I always thought the stock Liquid Silver color scheme was perfect just the way it came from the factory. Out of the above I would choose #5, but in reality I would be disappointed if you abandoned the Liquid Silver color scheme.
Of course I may be a bit biased (and it is your car).

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

weighed the tire and wheel thats on her now.

40lbs X4 = 160lbs
now i want to reduce it by at least 10lbs so 150lbs or less

any lightweight rims ?

i was looking into the 05 mustang rims but cant find out the weight. hopefully under 19lbs

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

Although I dont have the exact weights, you will be hard pressed to find a lighter, stronger wheel than the 05+ Sti BBS forged wheels. They also have the right offset and hub diameter, and are affordable used. (500-700 set is typical with worn tires.)

This.

They weigh 19.5 lbs, are 17x8", and fit the SVX perfectly.
