IS it wet under the car? Still bet it is a metal line going to the RACK.
don't feel bad , don't beat your self up . the guy at Auto Zone argued with me over the power steering fluid . BTW it is Dactron ATF
Bad spell checker DEXRON
yes, our car has a power steering cooler, though as most power steering coolers it is not much of a cooler just a length of metal line attached usually to the lower rad support and no fins on it.

I like it better not going on the fenders , because it has no official break line . You need some thing to break it like a pinstripe or crease or seam . Just to stop it mid fender looks wrong in MHO

There's a seam/crease on the fender that follows the "high body line". it follows all the way from the trunk lid, to the quarter garnish, into the bottom edge of the glass, bottom of the side mirrors to the fenders.

Then that is what the paint should do but then a Gold pin stripe should break it up . Even a double white would work . Just paint will look wrong . You wont get a clean enough line . again this is just an opinion . I worked in a body shop Back in the day of the 2 tone cars .

It's been done plenty of times. There is a very clear line when done this way...

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

It would look something like this, minus the weird hood and spoiler mods. It certainly changes the lines of car. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either.

I agree . I don't love it or hate it . Just not my taste . It looks out of place . THE line , crease, seam what ever may be there but not bold enough for a color change.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

The problem for me is that it makes a straight line that travels the entire length of the car. However I can see why Jawn would like it, that sharp straight line reminds me of the XT.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

i seen that picture of the before, i like how the dark gray is on the silver, but mine would be Ebony matching the back original color.

the grill is a 97 with the side decal minus the small letters "SUBARU".

Yes, that's a better example.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

^ Awkward.

The white/black with the hood and fenders black looks too cop car-ish to me. Maybe red/black or silver/black would look better to me, but I'd have to see it to judge.

Re: Vexine: 1992 SVX

I'm just not feeling it.
Maybe it be better in silver .. but this really does feel like it wants to be a cop car.

It looks wrong to me to have the front fenders half painted two colors.
