Oh, come on, we love you! You would have smoked that 924, as well as that 912. The GT3 and the GT2R are out of everyone's league. That Cayman is just HOT!

When Jerry aka subi-crosser, ran my non-supercharged Claret this weekend, he did ok, around 55-56 seconds and said what I need now is R-compound tires.
Maybe I can drive it myself in three weeks at the next Cumberland Autocross.
BTW, Pictures are in my locker;

I shipped off the supercharger to my engineer today, to exchange it for a bigger, quieter, model with two generation newer seals in it.
And a bigger inducer, and a bigger impeller, and the same exducer.

Yes it does. We get some more 928 pics, we can get Alan to cry. The white 911 looks like a 964 series. They sound awesome at full tilt.

Thanks for shooting pics of the "real" cars Tom! Don't worry, if my baby comes home, you can not only ride in her, but DRIVE her at Reading 7.5!

<...yes, you too Chike >

Sweet! I'll let you take my WRX for a spin as well.

I spoke to my wife about Reading 7.5 (at Tom's place for the Cumberland autoX in August), and she's open to tagging along w/ the kids...

Cool. Does Wiley Ford, WV actually exsist? Sounds like a Warner Brothers cartoon town.

Ha ha ha! LOL!

It's a place where a lot of 'wild characters' call home - that's for certain!

I map quested it. 3.5 hours each way. So about 2 3/4 in the 951 keeping it conservative.

Takes me a hair over 3 hours to get there. A pretty good middle point if you ask me...

How are things progressing with the wife? When will you know yay or nay?

When is the Cumberland Auto-X? I'll be up at the in-laws mountain retreat the weekend of 11-13 August, and at the Street Rod show the weekend of 26-27 August.

As for the car, I'm holding at 85%, I need one, maybe two things and I'm there.

This is the AutoX & event schedule for Cumberland Airport:

May 13-14 - Airport Icebreaker Autocross
June 2,3,4 - Cumberland Historics Weekend
July 29-30 - Mountain State Classic Airport Autocross
August 19-20 - Summer Sizzler Autocross and Airport Appreciation Days
September 16-17 - Harvest Moon Airport Autocross
October 28-29 - Pumpkin Carve Airport Autocross

The August 19th date clashes with a points event in my local SCCA, and the September 16th date is the same as the Subaru Challenge. It now appears that the late August date of July 29/30 would work best for me...

How soon might you be able to get the 951? You said you need one or two things to happen - will these take days, weeks or months to fall into place?

The late August date of July 29/30???? Huh?

The August 19 & 20 works best for me. I hope to have the car by July if I can get the finances worked out. He needs a few weeks to replace the oil pump and fix a small coolant leak, and I would have to fly out to Indy and drive it back. Keep your fingers crossed.

Doh! I meant the late July date on the 29th & 30th.

I have an autoX on August 20th. It'll be tough, but I could make a Saturday autoX on August 19th.

Good luck getting everything worked out!!!
