Just a geniune thank you from me!
Just wanted to thank Tom and Diana for shipping me a pair of wheel bearings to Sydney. And thanks to the guys who run the forum, this has really been great.
The wheel bearings arrived today and I'm also interested if anyone has a photographed step by step walkthrough on how to install them, i dont feel like paying anyone to do this job and I'm saving my money for a trip over to America next month!! (by the way, I've seen the how-to document/info on the wheel bearings). Thanks again, Jordan. |

I looked in your locker. Good write-up, looks complete and easy to understand, at least to me (but then again, I AM a girl ).
The only thing I would do differently is this -- Step 5.6.2 TAKE THE KNUCKLE AND THE NEW BEARING SOMEWHERE AND GET IT PRESSED IN!!!!! Most shops only charge 35.00 (USD) or so to do this -- you just have to make sure they change out the bearing grease or do it yourself before you take it over to them. Unless you are planning to do a bunch of them, there's no reason to buy a Hub Tamer or Bearing Separator. Just a thought. Thanks for the write-up, on behalf of all of us who just can't find the time!
