Alarm module
Had my car in the shop for some repairs and when I dropped it off the park lights stayed on. I know about the switch and that wasn'tthe problem. The shop did some checkign and said the alarm module was bad and that casued the park lights to stay on. They couldn't find a new module anywhere and ened up wiring around it. So I have parklights but no alarm.
Not too concerned about it as I can live without an alarm, but if I could find another one I would install it. So, does anyone know if this part is out of stock or any suggestions on how to get one? Thanks |

Re: Alarm module
Can the alarm modules be removed without ill effects. I plan on getting a remote start/alarm in the future. I don't use the factory one as it is so I got no problem parting with it.

Re: Alarm module
I can't say weather it can or not. SVXdc sells a harness to plug into the stock bundle to make wiring in an aftermarket alarm a bit easier.
