Superb Driving : Do you have 8 mins to spend ? - video
Yo, I'm impressed by his ability to control the vehicle at that high speed and his drifting skills.
His double clutching is quick and he doesn't wear helment. I think this porsche is tested at the world's toughest track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6Tho...elated&search= Enjoy,

I like the pass on the Smart at the beginning. Seriously, what's a Smart car doing at Nurburgring?
And wear helmets.

Special thanks. Very, very interesting and well worth the time. That guy CAN drive.
I have watched many in-car shots of racing drivers in action and have often been dismayed at their poor technique. This guy is spot on. Note that he NEVER has two hands on one side of the wheel. He shuffles the wheel in the time honoured and proven manner, but despised by many a boy racer. The wheel is always gripped below 10 to 2, so that a toggle action is never involved. He crosses hands when necessary, a technique sometimes disputed, but used by all the very best drivers. When the car starts to slide his hands are always in a good position to instantly put on reverse lock, but then attend to any overcorrection without overdoing it. He certainly knows how to safely stay at nine tenths. Note only one hand on the wheel during a fast straight section, denoting a relaxed style. Also the laid back seating position. Bloody good stuff. Trevor.

I did enjoy riding with him on the computer screen and like his techiques. What kind of disputes do people have about crossing hands?

It is a technique I have always used in setting a car with some rear end drift going into a corner. Under these circumstance extra lock will not be required, but opposite lock probably will, together with feathering the throttle, to retain a balance. Thanks again for the ride.

I don't know and why are the bikes doing there too? Maybe test-and-tune the suspension? I also don't know that how he get away without wearing helment...his speed is probably 2x or more than some cars at the track.

He's a good driver, and going faster than what my car can do, but the Nurb looks a lot tamer than what people make it out to be.
It also looks like he almost bit it at 4:12, and there's a change in the matrix at 6:55.

AND YOU GOTTA HAVE A ROLL CAGE. sand traps, nothing solid within a mile, smooth, smooth surfaces, rolling starts, napkins. My grand daughters who ride in equestrian events, demonstrate more guts. Danger IS, part of motor racing.
