bolt on exhaust

I was wondering if there is a bolt on exhaust for the svx. I got one from gibson for my truck and did it all myself and would like to find something like that for the svx. I did use the "search" but just found a lot of stuff that didnt answer my question. Thanks.

Re: bolt on exhaust

There isn't much available, most of us with a non-OEM exhaust have some sort of custom setup. Stebro has a system, but it's quite expensive and actually getting your hands on one seems to be fairly difficult (useless customer service reported by most people). I've given thought to selling a version of my system, but I don't have the tools or space to produce it right now.

Re: bolt on exhaust

Yeah, thats what i thought. Do you have a sound clip or vid of your exhaust? May be something you could make some money at if you had the stuff and space to do it.

Re: bolt on exhaust

I've actually never gotten around to making a sound clip of it, unfortunately. However, I do have a thread detailing the making of it here.

The car is currently in storage for the winter, so no chance of any sound clips till I pull it out again in the spring. Maybe then I'll get around to it.

I would definitely offer a similar system to the other members of this community if I could. Making money would never really be a goal of mine, as long as I get enough in exchange to cover the materials and consumables (argon, welding wires...) I would be happy making these for members. Plus with some tooling made up I'd be able to experiment with my own systems.

Re: bolt on exhaust

What does the front look like . The problem always seems to be at the front split ( second cat. ) where it goes into one.

Re: bolt on exhaust

On my system? Like this:

There's room for refinement. The next version will have the cat moved as far forward as possible to I can make better use of the hangers that hold the stock one.
