Collision avoidance! I got the sucker doing a 180 on the highway just playing around with a car I didn't own from a dealer who was to say the least not very on top of their game.

Even a FXT with a STI suspension doesn't impress me all that much. Way too much weight up high! Now put that suspension on my REAL XT and then we're talking!

I know a fellow that showed up at autocross with his girlfriend's Saturn and cleaned a lot of people's clock. He's a hell of a driver.

But a Caprice? I don't think so - unless it was the SS. No way a Tarus.....

Caprice Classice Police Ed. I know he'll run the same numbers as a very good SVX driver would in their car. Best part about it he doesn't take his foot of the gas the whole way through the course. Just power brakes it .

His name is Forest, runs the Cap in FS. At this event he was within 1.2 seconds of the STi's in AS...

I had a 1969 Buick Special wagon, lowered 5" in front, and 4" in back, with 15" shaved police car radials, Monroe P500 shocks, and could SMOKE Camero's.
Of course, I was 18, stupid, and had NO FEAR! Or sense apperently
You could cruies at 100, without a hand on the wheel, back when 100 was not fast.

I know. Just got my new Dunlops in today - but one was damaged in shipping. Hope I can get a replacement from the company soon. I want to have my car set-up just right for 9/17!

Green, you wanna take the lead on trying to get a meet together for the NC one too. Would love to make it a E Prepared Challenge between the two racers of the east!

I'll get ahold of Paul Finner and see if he wants to bring "SVreX" to the Maggie Valley Subaru Challenge... That would be cool though
