I need pics of the stub in the trans with no axle on it... Its the only way to tell for sure

So what is the verdict? Should I use the axles and see if I blow gear oil out? If that happens then try to figure out a solution? What are people with the 6mts currently using for front axles?

If the car is together then you should just see if it blows oil out. With my 5 speed it did but not the 6 speed. Used the stubs from the auto with standard SVX front axles. I think the seal issue depends on which model gearbox you got.

ahhh okay...... I am going to see how it goes, if I leak, then I leak and I will have to figure out a solution then. My pedal box is almost in. Once that is in all I need to do is mount the starter, do the little bit of wiring, reassemble the intake and TB's, mount the linkage, bleed the clutch and brakes, and voila...... Done

Bobby in this picture if you look at the diameter of the shafts where the seal is to the front differential you will see the STi is a much larger diameter. Thats why you need to put in svx front diff seals so the seal matches the stub. Otherwise you could very well leak front diff oil out quickly enough to cook your uber expensive transmission.
