TO THE RESCUE!!! Mary and I (subi-crosser and scoobido) will haul your drunk butts to Tom's on sat,errr sunday at about 1:15 am IF we can work something out on the van. I have an 11 pass 96 Dodge but it's not tagged. I may be able to find one, orrr another person might have a van AND tag. I don't do bars, and will remain SOBER that nite. I prefer a campfire, and smaller groups. I live about 2 miles from the bar, so I will drop you off too, so your cars will be at Tom's house while the police CASE the parking lot!
If only a few want to do the bar, I'll haul you in my outback if you promiss not to puke on the leather!
Another option would be that we all hang out at Tom's front yard , swap lies, glorified stories, local legends and even a few factual events, while the fire burns down to the point that the focus can change to marshmallos and weenies on a stick. Whatever transpires, we look forward to meeting you people and showing you as good a time as can be had in the foothills of the Appalachians.

PS this place is NOT like portrayed on 'DELIVERANCE" , but we do have a river!

HOW about everyone tells us when they expect to get here and we will try to be available. Tom has to work from 10 till 2 on sat. I , however, get off about 4:00 on friday.
I will be at the airport about 8:00 on saturday. I will have a black and grey 91 Dodge ext. cab with a grey cap tarped to the fence to make shade, Gold sign on the glass on the cap says "Wilson Enterprises" May be a dark blue 90 legacy sedan parked there. (IF the boy wants to drive0
The event will be over at about 5:00 pm sat.
Friday, I will be working on my car at 'the farm',

On sunday, The black Dodge will be tied to the fence at about 7:00 am, and have a silver 85 XT on the dolly, or parked nearby.

uhh, well i havent gone to bed yet so i doubt ill be able to get up early enough to get there tomarro when the races start, however i suspect ill be geting their 4ish, depending on my state of mind when i wake up. but yeah, last night was a great evening, had a young woman over. then some drunk kids decided to break into the hot tub. to make a long story short one of the guys threw a few beer bottles at my date as we were smoking on my patio. my violent temper + flying beer bottles..... it was a good thing he was naked or i would have unleashed the dragon all over his face.

I'm signed up for Sunday only. I'm doing an open track event at Summit Point tomorrow so will probably just sleep at home and be down early in the morning. Sorry to miss the bar scene, but I look forward to seeing and/or meeting you all on Sunday.

I'm coming on Sunday Morning probably ard 8 or 9am either to Tom's plc or the airport, depending on how late I sleep and how early I can wake up. I've printed Tom's directions so I shldn't get lost.

I'll be happy to see some of you doing AutoX. You guys can't miss me when I'm arriving there by my bright shiney yellow cool machine.

Taking a break from loading the truck up. Hope to leave by about 9:30ish or so which will put me down there for the pm sessions which I expect Bill to be in . I know it's a little late, but if anyone who is coming has a cheap (preferably free) radiator for a '93 Impreza, we would be grateful if you could bring it with you.

BTW, the bonfire is all ready to be lit (and so are a few of you!), for those of you who would like to skip the bar scene.
