I'm not sure how it drives yet, I just got in mobil last week and it still has no exaust, but I'm hoping it's all the rave. It may only be fair that I let you take it for a ride.

Sweet man... I won't have the SVX with me though... I'll probably be with my Girlfriend in her Volkswagen Jetta TDI.... Either that or in my Rabbit... But I really don't want to have to drive 12 hours in my Rabbit... I'm limited to about 55-60mph if I do...

All right I've been bustin my ass all week to get this thing so I could drive it and I finnaly did!! Got the new exaust all welded up (except for one tip ) and took it for a blast around town last night. It seems alot faster with the 6 speed, alot more shifting but alot faster. In 6th gear at 80mph it tachs about 3,500RPMS But it feels great!!! I still don't have a shift knob yet so rowing through the gears with a short shifter holding it by threads makes it a little uncomfortable to shift quikly. But anyway, now I just need to get working on hooking up the NOS and a few other cosmetic things and go kick some ass.

Well I've been driving it all week and it's pretty nice. Getting used to the six speed over the five speed is fun. You need to do everything one gear higher with the six speed. Turns I used to do in second I need to take in third now. So far I've taken it up to 120mph (Closed coures, profresional driver) and it was at 6,000rpms. I'm thinking it's tops out around 135 depending on how much of that Stage II 7,200RPM cut off I want to use.

I also got my Prodrive shifter installed, it's a nice big black ball and it's fun to play with.

The other night I got my battery and NOS tank mounted firmly behind the seats, (Battery behind driver, NOS behind passenger), and I got my harness bar bolted in.

Right now I'm waiting on the Iridium plugs that I should get and have installed by Reading, and then I just need to pick up my arming switch from Hocrest at Reading and stick it in. In other words the Reading meet will be the test run for my Stage II. (Hope I got everything right).

I still need to find and post the tops speeds of each gear. And I havn't posted any more pics, because if you want to see more you need to show up at Reading.

Your car is black, black is the absence of light, so, your paint will absorb laser.
Your car is stock, that will show an absence of malice...
You are married, as soon as the Officer sees the ring on your finger, and no bride sitting beside you, he will assume either that you are running from a murder scene, or that you are speeding to get SOMETHING to make her happy!
Either way, he will just smile and back away,,,,, Good advice, smile, nod, and back away!

Smile, nod, and back away.......
