i think he ripped me off of a rim. check was deposited 4 days ago, maybe he is still waiting to see if it clears?? But the number he gave me is now disconnected, and his profile on here is gone. WTF!? EDIT:: just called a number I found online for a business of his. I was told that he packed the rim to ship it, just hasnt gotten around to it. My first bad ebay experience, and it's the West Coast
I won a driver's side speaker from power_eli (Portland,Oregon). Sent a money order and now, 2 weeks later, he is no longer registered. Anyone here who out-bid me one the passengers side speaker? How about the all the other parts being parted out?
I have made many good purchases on ebay but I would say, if not credit card or PayPal, don't do it. Gene

i won 5 things from him but he wouldnt combine shipping like he said he would. i told him when he sends me an updated shipping cost i would send his money (i was not going to pay $95 in shipping if it wasnt going to cost that to send).... about 2 days later, he sent another request (not from ebay) for the total without a shipping discount, i looked into why he didnt send invoice from ebay... he was no longer a registered user... i told him that i wont send payment to an unregistered user...... he did have good feedback of 240 total with only 2 negatives....and he did leave a phone number on all of his auctions (503-929-3168 Elija)... anyone that sent a payment try to check the area code of the number to verify the location orthe number?
i got the impression that he isnt part of vlad's group, but maybe just a kid (college age or younger) who decided to screw something up Quote:

quick ethics question
I get the rim from the seller, It was the wrong rim, so I am thinking that I should hold onto the wrong one, and request that he send me the new one and a check to cover the shipping of sending the wrong one back.
am i asking too much after not having a car for over 2 weeks?!?!?
