rear lateral link removal

I am trying to remove the rear lateral links from the cross member and I am having some serious trouble. I know the bolts are supposed to be for a rear adjustment (which is not covered in the chilton manual). I don't think these could have been adjusted I am fairly certain I am going to have to cut them off because they are corroded and now the nuts are stripped I used both six point and 12 point sockets with no luck. Even vise grips I lubed them up for a few days too. Any one have any other thoughts before I get to cutting?
