The good news is I have only 7000 miles on a brand new trans. w/external cooler, I changed the fluids, rear bearings, brakes, P.S. high pressure hoses and purchased a new battery and she fired right up and purred silently, quieter then my new 2007 Pearl Avalon Touring. I will never give up on her, everything seems fine but minor problems I'll fix myself : rocker cover gaskets, new tires, recharge air and she's road ready. (lol) My wife is supportive but thinks I'm crazy, I just love my SVX and glad to be back up and running.
Just as Harry says, it's great to have you back Aaron.

It's wonderful to see how loyal SVX owners are to their cars, it makes me proud!

Hi Wolfy!
There are lots of PA SVX nuts in your neighborhood!
And you are not that far from some of "The Family" in Philly and NJ.

And close to Reading!!!!

So, if all new members supposed to check in here, I probably should as well, since I've been lurking around inhere for about a week or two.
I've sort of fallen for the SVX, and is planning to take a trip to middle or south Germany to buy me one, since I can have such a thing payed and taxed in Denmark (where I live, and the taxes on cars are one of the highest in the world :-() quite cheap compared to other cars of the "sporty" type. - and, sporty yet comfertable seems to suit me well I think.

So, with a bit of luck I can have a SVX bougt, taxed and running for about 9500 euro/15000$ - which is a lot of money since I'm only 22 years of age, but still cheap for the car-type here ind Denmark, so if I end up broke I should be able to sell it with gain...

Anyhow, I have enjoyed the site very much so far - and probably will even more; might make a 5/6speed manual conversion at some time, ore at least the auto-box precaution convertion/add ons.

By the way, if anyone's wondering I have to go all the way to middel/south germany to get my hans on one, it's because there almost isn't any here in Denmark. 2 or 3 I suppose is all...

Re: Every member please check in here!

Hi everyone, my name is Greg and I live just outside Jacksonville Florida.
I piched up a pearl white SVX last week from outside Greenville SC last week.
I spent all day friday cleaning it up and checking it out some then took it to a garage party/ car show saturday and got a lot of good comments on the car.
It is sitting on the lift right now in my garage waiting for me to get out there and check it out deeper and see if it needs any od the mods listed here.

Hiya everyone!
