I'm just wondering cause the Mason-Dixon line runs just a little south there dosen't it...

You all will have to forgive a poor Westerner that is geographicly challenged.

I was driving around last week and I still can't get over how close everything is ... 20min drive from Lincoln Memorial to the 2nd battle of Manassas... I'm going to have a blast back there!!!

I found a book of translations that might help.

The Atlanta School Board, feeling left out by the fuss over "Ebonics," has decided to designate Southern slang, or "Hickphonics," as a language to be taught in all Southern schools. Here are excerpts from the Hickphonics/English dictionary:

TIRE -- noun. A tall monument.

RETARD -- Verb. To stop working.

TARRED -- adverb. Exhausted.

JEW HERE -- Noun and verb contraction.

HAZE -- a contraction.
Usage: "Is Bubba smart?" "Nah... haze ignert."

SEED -- verb, past tense.

VIEW -- contraction: verb and pronoun.
Usage: "I ain't never seed New York City... view?"

HEAVY DEW -- phrase. A request for action.
Usage: "Kin I heavy dew me a favor?"

GUMMIT -- noun. A bureaucratic institution.

Psssssst Mitch,

You may notice that the local people are saving & hoarding Dixie cups.
Don't worry about it. They think that this will help them to refinance their efforts to kick us 'dang efeet yankees, off'n' their plantations once and 'fer' all.

I have a few suggestions to make the transition easier for the good ole boys who will be your neighbors.
Get the removable gun rack option for your SVX. Randy can help you find one.
Do not put the 'Possum Pusher on the front bumper. You are not located far enough to the south for that one.
Get a CSA flag license plate for the front bumper.
Learn how to properly pronounce "taint never been no", and work it into your conversations on a regular basis.
As a last resort you may have to change your first name from Mitchell to Billy Joe Bob, or Jerry Lee.

New England, DOES NOT want VA, NY, (really NO on the NY) and any state South of CT, RI and West of VT, ME. I'm sorry to all the other slack jawed people that live in other states in the Northeast that don't get to take part in our "State School" Program.
