Joe, I've got a guest bedroom. I'll even throw in clean sheets. Bring Euros.

Ron.
That's a kind offer, Ron. I could take you up on that.

I can bring Euros and a box of Irish Whiskey, so you could balance the G forces on your spoiler, how's that?

Joe

Joe,
Since you will be going to Virginny (Virginia, I assume), you also have a place here in Winchester, VA to stay. Lots to do around here - EUROS not needed, but bring the whiskey!! I'll even think about lending you a SVX to drive! OOPS, steering wheel on the wrong side, isn't it!! :-)

Harry

Thanks Harry, that's a kind offer and a car to drive would be handy for the meet.

Wrong side driving is not a problem for me. For many years my main motor was a left hand drive French car, a Matra Murena. Mid engined, and three seats across the front, so opening the passenger door from the driver seat was not an option! Toll booths took some practice.

Actually driving a left-hand-drive car on the correct right hand side of the road would be a pleasant change.

If the meet date is set I will check out flights, and plan my holidays to suit. I have friends in the Caymans I'd like to visit as well, and maybe I could add in Havana for a little bit of exotica.

Joe

Mike's gold wheels are the only true ten-spoke here, and I think ten spokes suit the SVX.

All are admirable though.

So, now that you have decided, you need to go to the thread for READING X and sign up - you'll probably be the second one, behind John ...

Looking forward to seeing you there!!

The pearlie belongs to Carlos I also liked how the taillights were darkened - it fits nicely with the black on the trunk.

Yes.. Its true..

My pearlie... Thanks Joe!!! I think.. lol. Actually, I'm not very fond of the bra either.
However, it does hide a little booboo caused by a tiny hick-up. When I rear ended
somone going about 2-3 mph.. Anyhow.. It will come off when I get the bumper fixed.. Thanks to all for the great response about the wheels and the vinyl black-out on the rear lights.. FYI.. Wheels are from the 07 Mazda CX7.. +50 offset..

C'yall next year for sure.. I have to go to rehab now.. I'm addicted.. And it was only my
first... Everyone was awsome.. Or is that.. Pu**y is Awesome!!! All the SVX's were cool.. A sight for sure.. Seeing so many in the parking lot..Anyhow.. I can't wait for next year.. I'm ready to make my reservations NOW..

Carlos

Marisa.. You've been PM'd..

Haha... The last few years were my fault... Engineering was killing me so I had to get outta it... Now however I'm getting into the advanced Toxicology and Organic Chemistry side, so it's gonna be interesting to see how things stand next year this time... But if I have the $$ I'll get up there. If I can drive I will... If I can't for some reason, I'll fly up to NY and come down with JenSVX

Ok, i have SimplePic fixed! The problem was the new host did not have image magick installed, which is the image resize program, so it couldn't create thumbnails or intermediate images, thus, it failed. I switched to GD v2.x and it's working fine now.

I grabbed Tim's images and my images and uploaded them to the public album "Reading 2008" at simplepic, so folks can view with thumbnails all the images there. Hope you don't mind Tim.

http://simplepic.net/thumbnails.php?album=86

Also, anyone who creates an account there has access to upload to the public folder "Reading 2008" as well as their individual folders. Also, comments are enabled, which is the reason for requiring email verification so we don't get spammed again.

Enjoy the pictures!
