SVX bodykit and front update

Hi guys. I think that some of you wished to change front end of SVX too. Anyway I saw some themes like these at different forums. I tried to find photos of another front and back bumper. It was impossible. And I have decided to try to make it myself. I can show the work here.

My SVX had bad headlights and I could not find it in good condition. Therefore I have decided to apply a radical variant. I have almost stopped to make bodykit by own design. But about it a bit later.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

If you really must mess with Giugiaro's design, number 3 is the best of this lot.
No offence mate.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

I'd have to say out of all of those, #3 is top and #4 is second in my opinion. The others just would make it look like you're trying to make the SVX look like something it most definitely is not and doesn't flow with the car as a whole.

just my opinion tho

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

8 10 and 11 keep the Subaru feel while updating the look without being retarded... And you should be shot for even thinking the EVO X at all... I'd like to think that everyone can agree on keeping the OEM headlights at least shape. Clear versions would be ncie but the OEM looks best with the car. Grill could be updated but messing with the hood and fenders unless following the original body it just fugly. When I am able at my future employers I was gonna work on a widebody that is just a wider flow of the same lines cause they fit the car. No sence it messing TOO much unless it is for a reason.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

Thanks guys. I absolutely agree that #3 is better from these six variants. If I have started to make my bodykit right now then I would take it. I only wished to show alternative decisions probably, someone will wish to take some elements from these pictures. I can add some newer variants later.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

I'd love to see a stock R32 bumper on or next to an SVX. I've been looking around for one but best I can find are some fiberglass copies for about 360 shipped at the cheapest.

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

Suprisingly, none of those are that bad.

#9 Is the nicest, but even #8 isn't terrible (I personally wouldn't have it on my car though).

Re: SVX bodykit and front update

#4/#9 with the grill from #6. The problem with any of them is that a lower front bumper will have a line that doesn't match the side skirts.
