R1 Concepts.com
I found these guys on a random search.
Has anyone here bought brake parts from them? They seem to have good prices.

Re: R1 Concepts.com
I did. I bought pads and rotors for the front of my old SVX. I loved the brakes on the car after I put them on (front only). They were quick with shipping and great to deal with. My car NEVER out ran the brakes at the dragon and trust me I pushed the heck out of them. I bought D/S rotors for it with ceramic pads. People say the ceramic pads kill rotors but I really didn't care as the rotors were not that expensive to begin with. There was a little noise when they were cold but they more then made up for it when they were hot.

Re: R1 Concepts.com
I have slotted rotors from them they stop very well and my squeaking completely disappeared. A positive experience.

Re: R1 Concepts.com
YES, great stuff. The only really good rotors I found that don't cost an arm and a leg. Also, EBC Redstuff brake pads are a good match with them. Get the premium drilled/slotted ones for the front, the back you can just use the regular drilled/slotted: http://www.r1concepts.com/subaru-svx-1994-4wd.htm

Re: R1 Concepts.com
I have used them for 3 cars, including stainless brake lines I had a problem with one drilled slotted rotor, they sent me a replacement pair. Very quick very easy to deal with.
When I got my slotted drilled rotors pads for my svx they even gave me a 20% discount for multi car. I did have to call them and ask for it though. |

Re: R1 Concepts.com
I have them on my 02 Outback VDC and my 92 SVX. I have never had any problem with them at all. When it is time for my 96 SVX to get the brakes changed i plan on using theirs.

Re: R1 Concepts.com
I ordered new calipers, rotors and pads for the front and pads and rotors for the rear. I went premium and I'm very satisfied...this coming from using Movit brakes, says it all.
