The springs have a rough coated paint on them. If cleaned appropriately they would look great.

after further inspection... They are not Koni's, they are not SVX strut housings... They have aluminum top hats.. Still trying to get more info.

The hub knuckles have not been modified as they are the same thickness as the ones on my silver car.... Still no identifying letters, numbers, or logos on them....

not to mention that if those were g/c the front springs are not as narrow and tightly wound as the fronts. The spring in the pic looks like the rear gc spring...

I called the former owner and he said that he meant to say that the suspension was designed after the koni G/C set ups in his ad description for the car. It was custom made from an owner of a Shelby Cobra customization shop who also was the former owner of the SVX as well. I am now trying to get in touch with the guy that made this set up. The former owner did say that he auto-x'd the car as well as the guy who owned the Shelby shop... Apparently the set-up was great for that...

I havent driven the car with these on it... It had a blown trans, and is now getting a transplant from the silver car of both the trans and motor....

Spoke with the creator of these last night. He used a set of coilovers used by the hyundai racing team for their GT Tiburon. The spring rates are 450 front and 385 rear.... The suspension cost him 1500 before he even started modifying it. In order to mate with our hub, after he bought it he cut off the ears from the strut housing and welded on the SVX ears. He said he did this in a position to give the car a negative 1.0 degrees of camber in the front before adjusting the camber bolts at all. He did not do this to the rears. Also, I can say that looking at these and comparing them to my Koni/GC set up... These look a LOT beefier....
