Wtb: 92 security module and trunk trim piece
Hello,
I'm looking for a good security module for my 1992 LS-L and also the trim piece in the trunk that covers the lock striker. Please pm if you have either item at a good price. Thanks. |

I haven't pulled it out of the dash yet. I thought they are all the same. At least the US ones?

Re: Wtb: 92 security module and trunk trim piece
Dan, you need the part number because you have a pile of modules and you're not sure what's what anymore? It's the only one with a tail. Here's a picture: http://www.svxworldforums.com/view_p...?post_id=42348 The bracket may be different from the one in the picture.
They are not all the "same" in that there were some revisions to make them more reliable, but they are all interchangeable.

Re: Wtb: 92 security module and trunk trim piece
Anytime, glad to help. Also, in the dual airbag cars, they moved the module to the rear deck, but it's still interchangeable. The bracket is different, but they are easily switched over. Dan isn't super regular on the forums, so it might be a good idea to email him to check my post.
