Got rear ended....

Last thursday I got rear ended NOT in the SVX thank goodness!!

So my 1996 Mitsubishi Mirage (1600cc twin cam - 2 door) is looking a wee bit shorter.

Insurance is trying to write it off - I would rather they fix the beast. They are quoting NZ$3700 to fix - no rail damage.

IT has 205,000kms on the clock & I have had it for 15 years - do not want someone elses problems.

If it is written off I am thinking about a 1996 Toyota Sera as a replacement (another window in window) to sit in the garage beside the SVX.

Any thoughts on this model, there are a few for sale here in NZ - but I am looking at getting one from Japan.

The BMW that hit me was driven by a 22 year old - looking at her friend go by me in a very noisy "boy racer" type car!!!
