So the first two days I was being a girl and driving the engine worrying about it every time I went over 3k rpm.

There was concern over the way the engine was performing... primarily it was smoking. Well, after bugging the **** out of both Toms and successfully getting my number blocked

and also having held a very informative conversation with Chris... Thank you guys...

I gave the throttle some love. Which appears to be finally breaking in the engine and setting the rings. Car starts much smoother, a little bit of smoke when still cold... no smoke when at operating temperature. Running N/A the cylinders see very low pressure and as such it takes extra to set those Chrome-moly rings.

*sigh* It has been a hell of a roller coaster ride with this car...

Check the background! Tom is part of the scenery. They have to find him to kick him out. He blends in so well.

I was outside all day at the races... either watching Bart explode my car or working the course... it was great weather and I haven't really been outside all summer because I work all the time
