My attempt at making some long-grain... thoughts?

No, it is not a sticker... you can probably guess where it is though by looking at it, haha. I would appreciate feedback/thoughts/opinions on the best looking one. If that is none at all, that is fine too. Played around for funzies with a few dozen ideas tonight and here are the better lookings ones made in the end, imo:

#1 Boxer Big

#2 Boxer Mod

#3 Boxer SVX

#4 Boxer SVX Big

#5 Subaru Boxer

Likes? Dislikes? I can find and jump a cliff now if you like... (or the balcony can do if time is an issue and you have no patience)

The first one if you make it quad cam, not 4cam (that sounds weird to me) and add the SVX like in the fourth one. Also, our engine is 3318cc, not 3300

and 3.3L or just 3.3 might fit better.

The other fonts are also cool but too hard to read quickly. The first one is definitely closest overall.

This is for the engine cover? What you planning to make it out of?

Despite asking for popular opinion

I decided to go with what I felt best in an unusual JDM-styled font way in finally finishing my custom engine cover for the SVX. Now... this was done strictly out of fun and obviously holds very, very little... ok, zero purpose.

I can and will totally accept any and all "rice" comments you have to offer haha... but I hear it adds another 45HP under the hood (I **** you not!)

Aside from the obvious (45hp added of course, no less.. what else would I be talking about here) I thought it turned out rather well for a botched job. When Nate and I were at the junkyard many months ago and I jacked the engine cover that was missing the emblem... my mind started slipping away with what I felt to be somewhat a cool illuminated design. I'm pretty sure some car manufacturer does it or has done it but anyways. Lastly, all is not well. In fact (and go figure) the diffuser is a tad too thick and I will have to take out a few which will possibly yield **** lighting results if I want to actually make it fit in the engine bay. Little did I know how tight of an area I was playing with... oh well. Anyways, here's a few work-in-progress shots and the final product so to speak:

Now if I could just get my ass to redesigning the gear selector area that I've been pondering for the pas two years... I'd be set.

Seems like everyone has their own style or design idea they like for the letter face/font. If these cars qty weren't so limited it would be cool to do a small run where you could have interchangeable plates that are extremely cheap to swap out on occasion if you felt the desire to do so as well as alter/change colors on the flip of a switch. Though it's hard telling how and or if this thing will hold up in the summer heat with the engine running and how that'll play out... but it's not really intended to just be there for the DD as it is for more of a show purpose I guess.... especially since not very many people will see it anyway. Mostly for funzies.

I'll post pics of the entire engine bay later this summer when the refresh is complete and everything isn't so nasty looking
