Hi my name is Kevin, just picked up the SVX a few weeks back and have been getting it road worthy. Tags and plates went on it today and we (my wife Kay and I) took it for a ride. Without getting into a long Bio, I have always had a passion for unusual sports cars and my previous rides include a 1972 Jensen Healey Roadster and a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire.

I have always done all my own repair work, and have worked on Rolls Royce automobiles to Euclid Earth-movers and everything in between. I grew up ten minutes from Watkins Glen International, worked there in the summer and have had the pleasure of driving the course a few times.

I have to admit that I was lurking here abit in the beginning, gleaning all I could from the forum and it's very knowledgeable members, forgive me for that and thanks for the warm welcome.

Hello all I just wanted to say hello and introduce mself to the SVX world. I have always wanted one and last week one just popped out of the blue and I traded my explorer for it. Its a 92 and the original window sticker is still in the glove box. I am a Fiero Nut case and well and have owned 6 in hte last three years. Thank you to all and have a great kninght.

Yeah, that is QUITE an upgrade. lol Welcome to the site, by the way. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. There are LOTS of smart people on here who know what they are doing. You would be wise to read up as much as you can, and just let it all soak in, lol.

just got my 92 ebony LS-L, 120k on the odometer. Somebody had one in my neighborhood when I was a kid and I always wanted one, and at this point my 09 GTI isnt gonna cut it in the Wyoming winters so I got the SVX to do that while im stationed here.

Hello All........I'm Matthew and am the original owner of a 92 white lsl which has a bit over 100k miles and is looking good and running well- Have done the usual upkeep, but have backed off some routine maintenance...only issues at the moment are need to replace timing belt for first time (see my post under babble a couple of days ago) and small rust on fenders near rear wheels which I plan to do something about next spring- most recently, I finally fixed my ac and had the refrigerant converted- I live in Stamford, CT and seldom see any other svx's...MK

Hey everyone, just introducing myself, and my car. I already posted the car's info in the "registration" forum. I just bought my SVX earlier today at noon (technically yesterday). I have to say I love it. Even though we had our first rain today in the Inland Empire since ages, the car handles like nothing else and accelerates and brakes just fine. I have had plenty of onlookers admiring it with a couple of complements passing them by. My neice and nephew love the car too and want me to pick them up every day from their middle school in it. lol.

Now about the car...Its a Ebony Top on a White Pearl base (my favorate exterior color scheme) with a grey interior. Its a 92 SVX LS-L awd, with all the options. 17" BBS rims w/ Yokohama AVS sport tyres. It doesnt have the spoiler. It has nearly 103k miles but is in great condition. The transmision already had its rebuild. Only has very minor problems such as a bulb out in the interior, and the moonroof motor needs a light push to pop up sometimes.

Later on down the line, when I get the money, I hope to maybe convert it to a more JDM spec, that is change over to the JDM AWD set-up and ad the 4-wheel-steering...Then after that, I will probably look to get more power out it....But until then, I am very happy with the car the way it is.
