I'll be happy to see some of you doing AutoX. You guys can't miss me when I'm arriving there by my bright shiney yellow cool machine.

I'll be glad to seeing some of you that I've never met.

I was not there.

I’m sorry that I didn’t make it there. Sorry aobut that Tom and Diana.
I was all ready to go and even cleaned up my svx in that Saturday night.
I was probably bitten by something. The next Sunday I woke up and felt
so itchy all over my body. A lot of red dots and felt cold too. So I went
back to Sleep . When I called Tom at afternoon, he sounded tired. He
was sleeping. I wondered if all of you already left.

Tom, I still have some red dots and scars if you want to see tmr.
I knew that Tom was very exicted about the meet. I can tell from
the picture that he cut his grass very nice.

By the way, the pics are nice. I thought of bringing a full face
Helment for fun too before the Sunday. I will look forward to
Joining any meet next time if the schedule is good.

Dave & Bennifer...
Where's the PICs that were taken? I know I myself took 5 rolls of film and there were 9 shots on Jerry's camera plus whatever Kimmi took from the black and white film...yous aren't sitting on them are you? I checked your lockers and there was nothing.

PICs PICs...before I get any older (and I think I should've raced and gave yous a run for your money) maybe next time.

Some of Ben's B&W that Kimmie took are on the cars site. The 5 roll you shot is still setting in my dining room...

Yeah, where are the pics?
I especially want to see the ones of Ben and Dave's "race car" next to my car!

Yeah, pretty boy! Gotta keep that face looking good. Actually, some track events require a full face others don't but if you're buying 1 helmet that's what I'd get even though it is definately hotter.

The heat is the main thing I'm worried about as I'll be doing autox & track events in the summer months. I have yet to compete in an event that requires a full face helmet, and seriously doubt I'll ever have the need for one.

I'll probably go with an open face for now.

Rules are becoming stricter every year. I'd be suprised if you last 2-3 years with it before it being obsolete. Heat my a$$! Sit in a plastic seat in a nothing but metal interior strapped into a 5 point for 10 minutes in 90 degree weather w/o moving then we'll talk about heat! The visor comes off and gets just as much air as an open face.

It was great to meet ya and thanks for the high life!
I had some success with the air ride today!! I used the compressor that I robbed off the unfortunate XT and got the airbags pumped up harder than a,, well they are FIRM! The next thing was a trip to the 'launching pad' and a series of hole shots! the wheel hop was MINIMAL and it did make a differance!
I think a set of tires and some plugs will cut seconds galore off the time.
What were those tires you recommended ?
Those gold cans come in handy on a hot day, don't they?

since upcomming meets is the topic, I checked with my daughter today and she is moving to BelAir this week, and my son-in-law works at Ripkin park! The complex she's moving to doesn't have a space big enough, so She's checking on a place for me to park the truck and dolly ( with an HS car on it) and has offered her spare room to me for that weekend! soooo. We are most likely going to the subi meet in sept!

Jerry
