Rear axle bushings??
Recently took my 92 SVX in to get snows put on - the shop I took it to reported that my rear alignment was off (based on tire wear) which I can believe as I have had increased tire noise and a feeling that the rear end was pulling different directions sometimes... I asked them to take care of that...
They said they could not set the rear alignment due to some bushings being bad - and after a few days of research on their part, they said they could not order the right parts through Subaru separate from the subframe? At this point, I was given no part information, no real point of reference, just a car they now refuse to inspect (my state inspection runs out at the end of this month) with a loose rear end that they say can't be fixed because the bushings can't be gotten. Any help or ideas on what or where I can order the needed bushings to stabilize the rear on my car? I doubt I am the first to run into this issue... |

Re: Rear axle bushings??
I highly doubt a problem with the subframe bushings. They're pretty isolated from abuse and clamped really tight. I think the major suspect would be the trailing arm bushing. There isn't much that can't be ordered, so if you can get the part identified then it should be fairly simple to get your hands on one.

Re: Rear axle bushings??
Sounds like your diff bushings are shot. We have urethane bushings available, and there are pictures at allwelldrive.net in the products section. Let us know. That sounds like the problem.
