20 / 13 It's Coming! Be Prepared!

What is 20 / 13 ?

20 is the 20th Anniversary of the SVX coming to the US.

13 is Reading 13.

We will combine both of these events into ONE BIG ONE.

Why? you ask. Well, nothing has been planned to date and the leadership of the SVXWN was not willing to have this landmark event (20th Anniversary) go by like the 15th did. We started to look at our options and all decided that Reading is the biggest annual event in the US and we will have a large core group to start with. We felt it was important to have a meet that many can attend instead of no meet at all. We will add a day (Thursday) and it will go to Sunday and make it a 3 day event with some extra activities with some of the same great things that happen each year at Reading. We will announce some of the special activities in the near future. We have arranged for a bigger block of rooms at a special price. You can spend 1, 2, or 3 nights and get the same rate.

It will be held on April 26th to 29th. This date was decided by the membership casting their votes for when it would be held, so it also determened when the 20th Anniversary would be held as well. You only have to make it to one location to attend both combined events, so it will save you money as well.

We will have some special things offered to celebrate this event, and you will be able to aquire them even if you cannot attend. Many members have flown into the area and ridden with another member to Reading, so if you can't drive because you are too far off, or gas is to expensive, you do have another option. We will have a list of members who are willing to help get you there. This is a fun way to meet someone who you talk to on the site, but have never met them face to face. This is half of the reason these meets are so great!

We hope that you will be happy with the results of our planning. We know that we can't make everyone happy, but we hope that we can make most members happy. This has been announced far enough ahead to make sure you have the time off and can attend. It will be very important to book your rooms early, because we have another big group who will be there on this same weekend. Remember that you don't have to pay for the room until you stay there. It is FREE TO BOOK A ROOM and SAVE YOURSELF SOME $$ AND HAVE A PLACE TO CRASH. This will be an event that you will not want to miss! We still have many plans to make and we will announce what they are as we get them scheduled. We will try not to have any surprises that so many were mad about at Reading 10.

If you have any ideas and want to help make this event better than ever, please contact me or any other SVXWN officer to get involved with the activities. It takes more than just a couple of people to plan and put on an event like this. We welcome your help and thoughts. I look forward to this great event and hope you will too.

Thank You.

Earl Steele and The 20/13 Committee.

Yes it is. We can't hold 2013 in 2013 because the Mayans are gonna kill us all in December of 2012

We're not going to die. The chosen ones with the right spirit and knowledge and understanding of nature are going to achieve a higher level of conciousness where our physical beings will no longer be needed. We will continue in a different dimension. We will be able to travel anywhere in the universe and communicate without spoken words.

Re: 20 / 13 It's Comming! Be Prepared!

Any idea if we got the SVX in Canada when you did?
Are we invited? :-)

Is it happening in Reading, or is that just the name for the event?

Cheers,
Rod.

Is it happening in Reading, or is that just the name for the event?

Reading has been the name of the event for the past 12 years, even though it was never held there.

Almost always held Morgantown, PA, about 16 miles away

Obiviously you haven't seen an episode of Trailer Park Boys. I'm pretty sure I remember reading it is a documentry of the average Canadian.
