I'm not in on this AMR buy, but I was in on the original AMR coilover buy and it took at least a year. Andy will be ill, have employee troubles, re-tooling, moving, buying new computers since his were stolen, etc, etc, etc. He seems to have improved but he takes longer than expected and always has a reason. Maybe he's just very unlucky.

My coilovers, to me, were well worth the year + wait. I'd have gotten in on this radiator buy had I not picked up a PWR a while back. If experience is any indication, he will say that they are just about done for a long time and, then, they will suddenly be done and be pretty amazing.
I've bought the coilovers fairly recently - about 6 months ago. Delivery was 2 months, but the end product was worth it. Very good craftsmanship. I am expecting no different for the radiator. My SVX came with a non OEM radiator with semi hacked mounting brackets and fan mounts. It seems to work OK, but I'd like to eventually get something that fits OEM.

I will be withholding payment until I witness a "you need to do this or it's not going to happen" moment.

I realize AMR is more than likely going to deliver on the product but once burned twice shy, as they say. Still bitter and skittish over that $400 that went up in smoke a few years back (not AMR related).

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Hopefully everyone who signed up as wanting one has gotten this email
"Happy Friday!
Hope this e-mail finds you well. If you are receiving this e-mail then you are on the list to purchase, and have us make you one of our SVX Radiators. We have attached a picture of the production unit we will be sending out next week. We have not received payment from everyone yet, and are still under 20 people at the moment. A few people will be making there payment today, so that should be bringing up the total. If you are not wanting to purchase a radiator at this time, kindly unsubscribe from the list so that we do not hold up the people who worked soo hard to get their money together to make this happen. Simply e-mail us, and let us know, and we will remove you. We want to make sure we account for everyone that took the time to sign up on the website, and be a part of this. Thanks again for the time, and we hope you like what you see cause it turned out great!

To place your order simply go to this link. https://amrengineering.com/product/1...r-oem-fitment/

We would love to produce these for you guys ASAP, but we’ve got to make sure that everyone that has signed up is paid for, and that we don’t miss anyone. So again to make it easier for us if you again do not plan on ordering one, kindly contact us so that we can remove you from our list. We’d hate for you to miss out on this because we don’t know when another run will happen, but if you really can’t join, and make your payment at this time, again kindly contact us. For those who have already made their payment we appreciate both your support, and your promptness.

Thanks,
Andy"

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

So has it been stated that the radiator actually fits 100% without any kind of modification what so ever?

I got that e-mail. I am a little concerned with how the filler is sitting. My PWR has issues with hood clearance. Can't go back to that.

Ya that looks a bit funky. Waiting to hear back on the trial install by the guy who donated the oem sample one.

Paid.

Even with all the concern, the hope is that with more people paying the motivation to complete will be greater.

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Excellent review of first AMR SVX radiator. THANX "92 SVX" and AMR! Only one or two minor issues on the first one made. Can't wait for the "production run" to ship. http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=63872.

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Ordered mine on the 7th. Hopefully the fan shroud adjustments are taken care of in the production run. Can't wait to get the radiator installed!
