1st gen Outback suspension specs needed
Just looking for dimensions of the Outback stock struts and coil spring dimensions.
Basically, distance from the middle of the bottom bolt hole to the spring perch, height of the spring perch to the strut body, and then from the strut body to the extended length of the strut. Then the outside diameter of the coil spring, the overall length of the coil (uncompressed) and lastly the thickness of the coil spring (the rod itself) Needing this for both the front and rear strut if anyone has access. Thank you in advance. Edit: Found what I needed for the front springs, still need the other stuff if anyone can. I'm doing my own research online but it's tough to dig through forums and posts to find this type of info. (not this forum obviously) Last edited by 1986nate; 09-07-2011 at 03:02 AM. |

Re: 1st gen Outback suspension specs needed
1st generation, aka 96-99.
Would also like the specs from Foresters if someone might be able to find this. 1st and 2nd generations. I am only asking because I figure someone may randomly have parts laying around and able to take measurements. I'm still searching everywhere to find the info but like I said, not easy to find. I know once I get back home I can get some measurements of the outback parts I believe, but not of the Forester info. |
