Tom, any way you can find to get $6500 into my bank account, the car's yours.

Did I mention there's a genuine Subaru cupholder in the console?

Tom, I'd love to buy you my own car. I'm not a 1%'er, so that's out of the question.

Gimme a call after 5; the shop's touchy about the cell phone.

Sorry to see you're selling the car, Rob. That being said, I think your reasons put it straight as to why.
It was good knowing you owned the car as you USED IT as it was intended as well as somehow DD'ing it
I just hope the new owner does the same.

Re: NY: 1992 SVX LS-L, the legendary Shadow Machine

Dibs! Oh my God I want Dibs! I didn't even think I would wand to own another SVX because I thought Chike's was perfect and I had done everything I ever wanted to do to it. It was complete! This is different though.

The only thing I don't care about is the 6 speed (believe it or not). I want a 4.44 in there with a Level 10 Hydrosystem.

I was tipped off about this car (SVXFiles). YES....I want it. No if, and's or buts. I know nothing about Hydra though. Not sure how to maintain it with the supercharger either. But very interested. More than interested.

Gonna pay something off this Monday to have access to the $$$ I need for this.

SVXFiles......I know you out there. I want this BAD! I never did reach my 1/4 mile goal in my previous SVX before wrecking it stupidly. This will complete my Subaru round up (XT6, Outback Sport, SVX). Must have this...... Shi*......loosing sleep now. SVXFiles will hit u up with the details.

Re: NY: 1992 SVX LS-L, the legendary Shadow Machine

I forgot to add one important dumb question. This has a Hydra. You said you use it for daily driver. You in NY I assume... I'm in Delaware. Will this pass emissions? What does the interior look like? I understand it doesn't have A/C.....not THAT important.

Anything else people would need to know about this car? Just asking! Still thinking on Chike's ride I bought which pretty much had '0' problems.

Keven, (Kirill, Bobby)
There is a place in Baltimore that can tune the Hydra.
The guys name is either Bill, or Bob.
I'll try to find out today,

(or by Monday.)

Should you choose to de-six-speed it, there's got to be someone around here who'd like the swap kit complete.

You'll be quite close to Phil, the big name in Subaru/Hydra tuning and support. We can get you hooked up. Supercharger maintenance isn't substantial; the fluid is freshly changed, and there's a spare bottle of the stuff to go with the car. The belt's new, and I have another with that, as well. Both belts will accommodate either pulley.

I've been driving it to work on a daily basis. We just had our first frost, so that's all done. Regarding emissions, we don't test for it in the "forbidden zone" part of New York.

(Fellow New Yorkers love this map!) I'm just above the first "L" in "ALL. The car passes our inspection, which basically (for OBD-I and before) shows that the car's in some shape of not falling apart, with one wheel's worth of good brakes. I don't know how NJ handles their emissions testing; [EDIT: I received it with a NJ sticker]. I sure can't make any promises, but I'll say that I haven't made any changes that would make it worse. If anything, I've trimmed the idle and leaned back low load AFRs (to something still plenty rich!) that should help it.

It's in great shape, actually. The cloth seat swap is complete, and (as above) it has a legitimately installed shift boot. Also as above, the glovebox interior needs installing (I have the required screws collected in a ziploc bag). I didn't really change anything since Tom had it except for the manual belt change on the passenger side. There's got to be a couple of shots of it on his FS thread...
