Help! Running very rough
My '92 was running just fine. Stopped at a light and it shut off. Now it will start and run for a minute or so, but "chugs" and if you try to give it any gas it will shut down, sometimes backfiring. Sound like a timing belt? If so, how hard are they to replace?

Sounds like a sensor to me. Coolant Temp Sensor, Crankshaft Sensor, or perhaps even the Cam Position Sensor. A far shot might say that the MAF needs cleaned.

You may have an easier time checking the codes first with this document located in the How-To folder.
