Re: SVX Megasquirt Standalone ECU with coil drivers
How did you guys wire it into the car again? A pinout or the actual wiring would be very helpful for someone installing it. Although I am guessing that the wiring belongs to Tony now, with the rest of the car. Thanks for offering it to me via PM, but I already bought an MS3X, so I am all set. Although I am tempted to get it for the 97... If no one snaps it up, I'll think it over.
Having coil drivers on board already and setup to run the stock coils is very convenient. This is a very good price for an EMS for someone who can spend some time on the wiring. Especially since the maps are included.

Re: SVX Megasquirt Standalone ECU with coil drivers
Hi mate,
No the loom is in Tony's car. However, this would work for $67 http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/8...ady-p-477.html We intergrated it into the factory loom...so the MS plug and loom were spliced into the standard ECU plug wires. As to a wiring diagram...hmmm...I can photocopy the notes Marc used? Not sure...I think anybody tackling this would have a reasonable understanding of wiring. To be 100% clear...this is NOT plug and play. THanks, Matt |

Re: SVX Megasquirt Standalone ECU with coil drivers
I just realised I can't photocopy as Tony has the manual now. He might be able to find the relevant pages within 2-3.

Re: SVX Megasquirt Standalone ECU with coil drivers
Someone following the notes in my thread ought to be able to generate a wiring diagram too. It can definitely be done, but it's always nice to have a head start. Also, diyautotune has a break-out-board that will plug in where the stock OBD1 ECU does, which would make it plug-and-play or nearly so.
