Tranny issue

I have not griven my svx in 2 months,so I took the car out for a spin last night.The car drives perfect until you try to pass my car won;t rev pass 4500 on a downshift but drive perfect when you are drive under 4000 rpm.It appears to have a new rev limit of 4500 strange because before I parked it the car rev to 7000.Now if i got the car in park no issue reving or in neutral,I am going to change my tranny fluid and filter first,any thoughts.
