a yellow rear tow hook.

This sounds like "sneaky talk" for a drag chute.

Harvey.
Actually Harvey, it really is a yellow tow hook!
HillClimb rules dictate that you have a front and rear tow hook with arrows showing where they are located.
Stickers to come.

I saw the arrows and notations on Harry's car at Reading and wondered why he had done that. Now I know!

The Polish Mountain Hill Climb is about twenty miles away!
http://www.polishmtnhillclimb.com/

There are some other Hill Climbs within driving distance.

I took The Racer for a short run tonight with the recent repairs/upgrades.

She is running very strong!

After radarwiz (Elezar), Rufus and Pete drove The Racer at last weeks Cumberland Historics Autocross last weekend I have now installed a stock size aluminum 2.66# crankshaft pulley to get an easier steering wheel when it gets crazy.
Thank you for the loan of the pulley, Jerry!
I also drilled out the front strut and spindle upper holes out to 11/16" to get a little more camber.
The bolts are upgrades as well 9/16" grade 10s.
Here is a link to Elezars videos of three of his runs.
He sure looks fast!

Actually I have not weighed it lately.

Not if OT keeps adding those unnecessary "creature" comforts like stronger power steering. This car shouldn't be a porkhaus. Its much too nice for that. A wise atomotive engineer once said if a part doesn't break in a race its too heavy, if it did break you took off too much weight. I'm sure Colin would know right where to put that larger pulley.

Much cooler if they had to stay in their own lane... Looks like a topical road here in Conn.

Ben I have removed some weight from the car,
rear sway bar and brackets,
steel sunroof brackets replaced with aluminum,
fiberglass sunroof (when installed) instead of steel,
a little of the rear bumper frame,
the coil overs are lighter than the original set up
lighter battery cable.

And I have added a little weight,
the full size pulley adds 1 pound, 5.6 ounces,
the power steering pump and belt,
two more hood pins
(the track officials were "concerned" about the hood lifting up in the middle.)
the new tires are bigger and steel belted
welded in the wheel centers, (but made the wheels stronger and safer)
the headrest bracket was manditory.

If you want Ben I can infect Elezar with a South American intestinal parasite...
Will that make you happy?

From what I'm reading, you made a front bias pig even more of a front bias pig, correct?

Are they gonna complain that you took out the cup holder next so they have no where to set their shirley temple?
