To back up this point, in my 92 silver, I was not completely sure what would cause some hesitation only during cooder weather (under 50*) and only for awhile before it got to operating temperatures. Never any trouble starting however and never a CEL. It wasn't until I had my 94 Laguna that I had similar drivability symptoms as well as hard starting and a CEL that came up with the Coolant temp sensor. I changed it out in my silver and haven't had the symptoms since.

I would suggest going with a Subaru part however. They're about the same price or cheaper compared to most aftermarket and never an issue with them. I, as well as others, have had issues with some of the aftermarket sensors.
