Handling is good but I need to reduce understeer further. I'm going to up rear rate with new springs this winter and then make the larger rear bar. Uping the rear pressure on the tires has had a dramatic impact on rear rotation. 38 psi is my favorite setting with 45psi up front. I can't recall the rear spring length off the top of my head, but I believe it's 8".

I'm building the anti-sway bar bending machine frame this weekend I have a Hossfeld bender with all the dies. I can even do roll-cage tubing with it...when I get the hydraulic power-pack for it that is.

Nice work and I need to talk to you about the rear mounts.

I'm not ready to offer them to the general public yet. When I do it will be complete with adjustable endlinks and the bar will have three settings.

Mychailo I checked the rear mounts and the bolts are smaller did I miss understand you?

Hmmm...with the Megan Racing group buy not looking so good I may be getting in touch with you about something just like this over the winter.

My old struts have been subjected to 15 Canadian winters (snow, salt, and nastyness). Would you still want those, or would I be paying the core cost?

mychailo, you had asked about the 450 front rates on my car... Seems to be a great fit for my car... Handles wonderfully at the auto-x and they don't really push at the limit at all... Now for some sway bar upgrades and I will be all set...

Hi Tony, I think there might be a misunderstanding. The rear mounts I'm using on the Koni/GC setups would work well for your driving. Finding fronts that work for your driving would need further research. Seems that a few people are dimpling their hoods with the Koni struts after big potholes, etc, so other people might start researching this too. The SVX front top mount does not have an equilateral triangle bolt geometry (most top mounts are equilateral triangle) making it necessary to drill at least one new hole in the strut tower to use a substitute mount from another car.

My DMS have a spring retainer that won't fit through the mount so my bonnet didn't get damaged.

Tony: The rear mounts shown should be tough enough for offroad duty. I haven't researched a replacement for the front because they have been good enough for road duty, but I would think that one of the Gruppe-N mounts with a hard rubber bushing could be adapted. They'd be louder than stock, but shouldn't be horribly noisey like a pillow-ball setup.

Very, very nice! Eliminates the need to heat treat to bring the strength back up (yes, it's a hassle...). How big a diameter of solid stock will you be able to handle? Got a local supplier of 4130?
