Re: Pumpkin Carve 2008

The Moran family will be at the Carve both days. We are hoping to stop by and hang out Saturday evening, barring any emergencies with the car.

Our Impreza has received a special tune just for this event. 2.5L STi block + WRX heads + 18G Turbo + E85 fuel = 370HP and 400lb-ft at the wheels! Too bad our tires probably won't last through the whole weekend.

Re: Pumpkin Carve 2008

I'll definitely be up there Sunday morning. Bringing BOTH cameras this time. Does anyone here like pumpkin bread? I'll make some and bring it to the carve. I can also bring donuts again for everyone like I did at the Sizzler. Mmmm sweet sugary goodness for breakfast. Last year 2 dozen seemed to be enough. Any kind you like....

I am leaving here between 8-9pm Saturday night. Still trying to see if there is anyone in the area who is interested in convoying or carpooling down.....

I signed up my silver and primer for her first A-X! Didn't do it on line though.

She will be arriving under her own steam!

De-pending on what happens this week, there MAY be a little 'shine' applied. ( But don't hold your breath). Could be 'SUPERMAN' is 'wishful thinking' again.....

Poor OT. He's working himself to death this week. I talked to Di yesterday about other things that would be needed. The short list we came up with...

-forks (plastic)
-cups
-chips?

Any other items (like non-alcoholic drinks) would be helpful.

OK, no 'shine'. Bro had a scare with his eye this week. Turned out to be nothing serious, but he called me for Dr Chet's phone number!
I WAS going to try to 'convince' him to help out. Dr told him to 'take it easy for a few days'......

ANYWAY, I have been driving the 222K 'silver' for a couple days.It feels good. I might just develope a 'fondness' for her.

Still needs new 'knock' sensors, so she's running about 35 degrees retarded. OT will get a little time with her by friday.

Sorry, Tom. That's not it! I got rid of that one. The one I have now is the wheel-stander! (It's only good for 135mph)!!
THAT van was a small block with a stick. The one I have now, (since 1982), is a 475 HP. 413 big block with an automatic.

So I can show everyone what a 'liar' I am, we could do a 'garage tour' to Huckleberry's and let them meet the 47-440. It is sleeping for the winter, but we can look in....
