Disc pads & Rotors - world compatible?
I have just had my car serviced (pick-up later today) & the guys reckon that in approx 3 months the pads will be down to minimum, they also mentioned that the rotors are pretty thin also.
So I was wanting to "upgrade" both front & rear to drilled & slotted rotors together with ceramic pads. But my question is are these parts the same around the world? I will find out the part numbers from New Zealand. Does anyone know if Dayle still works at www.Motorsportwarehouse.com as I am keen to buy from them (as I have bought stuff from them before). thanks Stephen. I believe that your rear rotors are different from what we have in The States. Are your rear rotors ventelated?

Re: Pads & Rotors - world compatible?
Mine rears are solid, but would consider changing them to vented - if I knew that they would fit?

Switching to thicker rear rotors would require different rear calipers.

Re: Pads & Rotors - world compatible?
Yes Dale has already outlined the different thicknesses between solid & vented - so will have to stick to solid ones.

Re: Pads & Rotors - world compatible?
Give me a ring, I know a place in NZ that you can get the work done - also I have a set of slotted rotors that will suit you. 07 3773465
