Re: Timing belt broke, caused collateral damage

Changing the timing belt after it broke has nothing to do with adhering to the torque spec of the camshaft sprocket bolt because changing the timing belt does not require removing it. When lining up the timing marks I only turned the bolt to the right. Only decided to remove the sprocket after my car seemed like it was out of time with all of the timing marks lined up.
