I have to agree with sicksubie. I'd pay $1000 for a non-running (dead engine or trans) car, 1500 for a sort of running not so great car, 2000 for a solid running, not great body, 3-4K for a decent shape car, and 5-6 for one in awesome shape inside and out, mods and stuff. New leather counts a long way in my books for interior quality.
Dayle's car falls into my 5K+ bracket.

Haha, my offer was a joke. And I'd agree. His SVX is nasty. Love it, better than mine. Shoot, I like Toms silver one better than mine. I like the color and the interior. The market must be different where ya'll guys are. Seriously, guys are selling theirs down here in Texas for $8k plus for decently taken care of SVX's. Shoot, a guy sold one for $13k with half my mileage, but it wasnt even fully loaded. Oh well. Theres a guy on CL selling his...92 LSL...with tons of problems for $3000. Busted tranny, rear end, power steering.

If that is indeed true then both of my svx's are for sale. I don't see how anyone would pay that much for an svx and I check all over the country and canada for svx's just for the heck of it and have never seen svx's going for that much.
