How about Acura TL wheels?
Another wheel question. Acura TL wheels 06, 17 x 8, 5x114.3 with +45 offset?
Offset is a bit off I know, I just don't know what that really means as far changing how they will fit. http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/pts/2441335466.html

Re: How about Acura TL wheels?
This isn't a bash on your post by any means, but a reasonable solution to this question as it comes around again.
More useful than our thread full of a million combinations of widths, offsets, and brands and models of every aftermarket wheel available would be a simple table showing the range of typical wheel widths, offsets, and tire max/min widths and diameters that will fit as-is or with a minor fender roll. Do we need to specify that a specific size of Rota IK-R fits and be surprised that the same size Rota IK-F also fits?

Re: How about Acura TL wheels?
One must keep in mind that aftermarket wheels will (almost) always be made with a overly large hub-bore so they can fit universally on any car with properly sized hubcentric rings.
OEM wheels of a different manufacturer however, even with an appropriate offset and lug pattern, may be made with a smaller hub-bore than befits our cars. It's just another factor to keep in mind when thinking about OEM take-offs from a different make. Even if the numbers match up on the other settings, test fit before plunking down any cash. Or see that someone else on the forum is running them first. |

Re: How about Acura TL wheels?
Actually on the subject of hub bores we're generally in very good shape. Subaru uses one of the smallest hubs of anyone, so nearly any other wheel will clear. 56.15mm for us, in case anyone's wondering.

Re: How about Acura TL wheels?
This is true. It's more of any issue with other makes being unable to use stock subaru wheels. I just wanted to make sure it's considered in the discussion. It's an oft overlooked detail.
