Tom can buy it back from the salvage and/or insurance company (I'm not sure which) for 20% of what they are paying her. The car will have a salvage title, which means she'll probably be just for parts. The engine & transmission should still be good and a lot of other parts (interior & trim), but I don't think it's worth restoring her (IMHO) since it will cut her value in half.

BTW, we're still in mourning.

We do have another Pearlie under construction -- as soon as the garage is done, we'll drop another engine in her and she should be good to go. Of course, she won't be as beautiful as the first one......

Yes, but can we get the parts to put on a roof, windshield, back window, 4 quarter-windows, at least two roll-down windows, hood, and two mirrors?

(I'm sure there are more parts I missed....)

This is my first visit to this thread, & if I hadn't been pounding nails myself all summer on Gail's new deck, I'd have pitched in. Fortunately my understudy, John, seems to have everything under control. Let me know if you need help with painting, as I have a degree in fine art.
Nice work, so far, Tom (and Di). I trust the new guest suite will have a Jacuzzi.

NORMALLY a 4X8 sheet is 4X8...
However, at 84 Lumber, they give you the choice of 4'X8', or 47-7/8" X96" (including the tongue)
