The svx REALLY doesnt need any chassis reinforcment....theres a reason its 3700#
Even if so...Such a bar would be most usable either running between areas where suspension components are mounted to the car , or if on the floor...running diagonally in an X. I dont think one little bar that ISNT custom made to fit running directly across the already heavilly reinforced (as far as parallel tension and torsion go) steel floor is going to make any notable improvments in handling. It might work slightly on a fully lightened toyota corolla...but sure as hel wont do **** on the svx

It is absolutely bovine manure and I hate the stuff. See below.
How could a piece of junk with bends in the middle, have torsional strength in excess of the car body structure. Because it will most certainly bend in torsion, it could possibly be used elsewhere as a sway bar, as has been suggested.

so are there things i can do to my car to make it handle better? like a front strut reinforcement bar or something like that?

If you remove the dash you'll find a 3" steel tube that runs across from the base of the "A columns" I really don't think that any of the wimpy "strut tower bars" are going to do anything to improve on that.
Have you done anything with the struts? Many SVX owners have done mods here with significant improvement to the handling.

yes putting a bar any where but where the suspension actually flexes will do nothing... which brings me to the next question... has any one made a strut tower bar?
